The hospital offers state-of-the-art diagnostic testing.

The hospital offers state-of-the-art diagnostic testing allowing timely and accurate diagnosis: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), mammography, X-rays, diagnostic laboratory etc.

Magnetic Resonance (MRI) Achieva 3T at the European Health Centre Owock is the only 3T MRI in Poland. The system comprises the most powerful clinical equipment (80 mT/m) with maximal speed of 200 mT/m/ms. The above parameters allow high quality diagnostic images and very short exposition time.

We offer MRI of various organs, in particular for oncological problems, such as Whole Body Diffusion Weighted Imaging (Body DWI) which might be a good substitute for PET (usually more expensive and requires the use of isotopes).

Magnetic Resonance (MRI) Achieva 3T TX allows functional imaging (fMRI) testing of the heart (including perfusion tests with adenosine), is useful in orthopedics, allows fMRI of central nervous system (e.g. Blood-Oxygen-Level-Dependent fMRI - BOLD-fMRI), abdominal testing and pelvis examination, as well as angiography.

128-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner Brilliance iCT SP allows fast and precise diagnosis of various organs. The advantage of such advanced system is ability to minimize the X-rays exposition and potential side effects (DoseWise).

We offer CT imaging of various organs, in particular noninvasive assessment of coronary arteries and calcium score measurement, as well as a virtual endoscopic examination.

We use only the best contrast dyes for CT and MRI, because it plays an important role in minimizing potential side effects and improving image quality.

Among many other diagnostic procedures, we offer digital mammography with tomosynthesis, X-rays, advanced ultrasonography, exercise testing, 24-hour Holter monitoring, ECG etc.
